NYC Intel is a neighborhood intelligence application for New York City, available on iOS. It surfaces publicly available city data — including 311 complaints, NYPD crime data, building violations, restaurant inspections, parking rules, and more — to help residents understand what is happening on their block.
NYC Intel is an independent product developed by Dmytro Polokhalo. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the City of New York, NYC Open Data, or any New York City government agency.
Full access to NYC Intel requires an active subscription. The following plans are available:
New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
You agree to use NYC Intel only for lawful personal purposes. You must not:
All data displayed in NYC Intel is sourced from NYC Open Data and is provided for informational purposes only. We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any data shown.
NYC Intel data should not be used as the sole basis for legal, financial, real estate, or safety decisions. Always verify critical information through official City of New York sources.
The NYC Intel app, including its design, code, and original content, is owned by Dmytro Polokhalo and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. The data displayed is sourced from publicly available NYC Open Data under the City of New York's open data terms.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. No other rights are granted.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NYC Intel and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the app or its data.
In no event shall the total liability exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.
NYC Intel is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no responsibility for the app or its content.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users within the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
